The
E. A. Hawse Health Center’s employ a current staff of
50 medical, dental, clerical and administrative personnel.
The Baker and Mathias sites and the school-based health
project are staffed with a multi-disciplinary staff.
At present the Health Center's professional staff includes four Medical Doctors, specializing in Family Practice and GYN, Physician Assistant, Mental Health Providers, Social Workers, two Dentists and two hygienists and supporting staff.
The E.A. Hawse Health Center, Inc. operates under the
direction of a 15-member Board of Directors. The Board
of Directors, presided over by John Hammond, meets on
a monthly basis. It is comprised of members of the Health
Center service area representing a cross-section of
the community. The Board of Directors is responsible
for implementing and enforcing policy and is the final
decision-making body in all matters pertaining to the
operation of the Health Center. Authority for the day-to-day
operations of the Health Center is vested with the CEO
who is responsible for the direction and ultimate supervision
of all staff and operation of the Health Center and
its programs.
Our staff operates as a team. We are proud of their
training, knowledge and capabilities. We strive to make
